Hi, I'm Kate (BA HONS QTS)

Dogs have always featured strongly in my life. I grew up with dogs as pets, and throughout my adult life, I have owned and have experience of many different breeds, including rescue dogs. It has become clear to me that our lives are enriched by the companionship of our pets; the saying  ‘dog is a man’s best friend’ has been well proven.

I resigned as an Assistant Head at a secondary school to retrain as a dog behaviour specialist and pursue my dream of opening my own business working with dogs and their owners. In addition to my dog walking, dog listening and boarding business, I am keen to take my work into schools. Throughout my teaching career, I have been interested in the emotional health and wellbeing of young people.

I believe that, based on a relationship of mutual respect, the unconditional love that dogs give us could also help young people with mental health, anxiety and confidence issues. I intend to develop this business to combine my love of working with children and dogs on a therapeutic basis.  Watch this space for more details!

I pride myself on being organised, approachable and having an enthusiastic and positive approach to life. I am fully committed to helping clients to look after their pets whilst also guiding and enabling people to have the happiest life possible with their dogs

Hi, I'm Emma

I have lived with a family dog most of my life whilst growing up.  I enjoy their company and individual personalities, and cherished their companionship.

My previous roles include 15 years experience of working in early years as a nursery nurse and four years of walking and boarding dogs.

I am excited to be part of Kate's K9's offering walking and boarding services. I love providing a home from home experience taking care of your precious dogs.

I pride myself in being reliable, trustworthy and I have a professional  friendly manner. Kate has taught me about Dog Listening and I approach each dog in my care using this amazing method that truly works.

I have a DBS,  Level 2 VTQ in Pet First Aid and CPR and I have  obtain dog boarding licence and insurance as a franchisee under Kate's K9s.

I look forward to meeting you and your doggies.

Hi, I'm Carrie

As a friend and client of Kate and Emma’s I have been keeping an keen eye on the development of Kates K9’s and their implementation of Dog Listening as well as practising it with my own 3 year old cockapoo, Jess.  I love that Jess chooses to be with me rather than just follows instructions or commands and this makes for a great relationship between my dog and I.

I really enjoy long stompy walks through the woods with my own dog so when the opportunity to join Kate’s K9s came along I jumped at the chance to be part of this brilliant team.

I regularly walk my friends dogs so the chance to go one step further and look after yours, sharing an adventure in great outdoors with them is the icing on the cake!

I will treat your pet with care and respect just like I do my own, and I appreciate the importance of clean paws when returning them to the house!

I look forward to building a bond with all the pets that are cared for by Kate’s K9’s and look forward to meeting their people too!
