Hi, I'm Kate
(BA HONS QTS)
Dog Listener, Dog Walking and Home Boarding

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with them as family pets, and throughout my adult life I’ve owned and cared for a wide range of breeds, including rescue dogs.
Over the years, it’s become so clear to me just how much our lives are enriched by their companionship. The saying “a dog is a man’s best friend” truly does hold so much meaning.
Before starting Kate’s K9s, I worked as an Assistant Head in a secondary school. I made the decision to step away from that career to retrain as a dog behaviour specialist and follow my passion - working with dogs and supporting their owners.
Alongside running my dog walking, boarding and day care services, I’m also passionate about the wider impact dogs can have on people’s lives. During my teaching career, I developed a strong interest in the emotional wellbeing of young people, and I believe that the connection we build with dogs -based on trust, calmness and mutual respect - can play a powerful role in supporting mental health, confidence and anxiety.
I pride myself on being approachable, organised and bringing a calm, positive energy to everything I do.
Above all, I am fully committed to providing the highest level of care for your dog, while also helping you build a happier, more relaxed life together.
Hi, I'm Emma
Dog Walking and Home Boarding

I have lived with a family dog most of my life whilst growing up. I enjoy their company and individual personalities, and cherished their companionship.
My previous roles include 15 years experience of working in early years as a nursery nurse and four years of walking and boarding dogs.
I am excited to be part of Kate's K9's offering walking and boarding services. I love providing a home from home experience taking care of your precious dogs.
I pride myself in being reliable, trustworthy and I have a professional friendly manner. Kate has taught me about Dog Listening and I approach each dog in my care using this amazing method that truly works.
I have a DBS, Level 2 VTQ in Pet First Aid and CPR and I have obtain dog boarding licence and insurance as a franchisee under Kate's K9s.
I look forward to meeting you and your doggies.
Hi, I'm Renata
Dog Walking and Home Boarding

Since a young girl I have always had a real passion for animals especially dogs. I thoroughly enjoy lovely long walks with my own dog Jack and I am so really looking forward to building relationships with your dogs too. There is nothing better than watching a group of dogs playing and enjoying a good walk.
My previous roles include being a nanny and personal assistant to two wonderful families in London for 10 years and I am also a qualified hair dresser.
I am an energetic and enthusiastic person who enjoys a challenge and achieving personal goals. I have excellent communicate skills, time keeping and a hardworking person and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends.
Hi, I'm Joyce
Dog Walking and Home Boarding

I love animals, especially dogs and having a British & South American heritage. I had the privilege of having experience with Ocelots (wild cats) and monkeys while in Brazil. During my time living in the UK I have owned and have experience of caring for dogs, rabbits, hamsters. I also have some farm experience working with cows, but that's a whole other story!
My previous roles include over 10 years experience in teaching and project management and being a mum to my three wonderful boys.
I have a DBS and level 2 Pet First Aid and CPR.
I have an active family life and it would be a pleasure to share it with your doggies in our home from home boarding experience. My aim is to make your dog feel part of the family during their stay with us.
I'm very excited in being a part of Kate's k9's and look forward in meeting you and your lovely furry friends.
Hi, I'm Sarah
Dog Walking and Home Boarding

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. From a child with 5 dogs to an adult with a German Shepherd and three German shorthair Pointers. I am therefore experienced with large, bouncy breeds. My gorgeous Jack Russell, Bruno Mars thinks he’s bigger than he is and also loves big and small dogs. He also looks like a Mars bar!
My previous work life has consisted of 20 years as a paediatric nurse followed by 2 years as a receptionist at my local vets, which certainly ticked all the boxes towards my love of animals!
I can’t wait to spend my days with your dogs. I pride myself in being able to understand dogs through their body language and different behaviours; providing fun, stimulating walks and a home from home when they stay.
Hi, I'm Carys
Home Boarding

I have always loved dogs: they have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
There is nothing that beats the feeling of walking with your furry friend along an empty field or snuggling up in an evening on the couch.
I don't currently have a dog of my own but plenty of space so that means I am able to board dogs that would benefit from one to one attention or a more peaceful environment without distractions.
I'm excited to be part of Kate's team and am really looking forward to meeting you and your wonderful dog.
