Dog Boarding and Day Care

At Kate’s K9s, we offer a true home-from-home boarding and day care experience, where your dog becomes part of our family.

We are fully 5⭐ licensed and insured, providing a safe, calm and caring environment where your dog can relax and feel completely at ease.

A Personal, Small-Scale Approach

We care for up to four dogs at a time, depending on the household.

This allows us to:
✔ Give each dog plenty of individual attention
✔ Maintain a calm, relaxed environment
✔ Ensure every dog feels safe and settled

If dogs are from different households, we will only board them together if we are confident they are well suited. Introductions are always carried out carefully, usually on a walk beforehand.

A Home-From-Home Experience

Your dog will stay in our homes, not kennels.

They will:
🐾 Sleep in the main living area
🐾 Have the option of a crate if they are used to one
🐾 Enjoy a group walk every day
🐾 Receive lots of attention, care and evening cuddles

We treat every dog as if they were our own, ensuring they feel comfortable, secure and part of the family.

A Calm & Understanding Approach

All dogs in our care are supported using our calm and consistent approach, based on the principles of Dog Listening.

This helps dogs to settle more easily, build trust and feel truly relaxed during their stay.

Day Care

We offer a limited number of day care spaces, with both half-day and full-day options available.

Dogs in day care receive the same level of care, attention and structure as our boarding dogs.

Getting Started

Priority for boarding is given to our existing walking and day care clients.

If we don’t already know your dog and have availability, we will arrange a home visit to:
✔ Meet you and your dog
✔ Understand their routine and needs
✔ Complete all relevant paperwork

We will then arrange a trial night, ensuring we are the right fit for both you and your dog.
